Williams Street Records: Watch Killer Mike Perform With Scar & El-P on Letterman

Last year, Adult Swim’s Williams Street Records released an album by Atlanta-based rapper Killer Mike. Mike’s been working since around 1999 and made his debut on Outkast’s Stankonia back in 2000, and later released his debut album, Monster, in 2003.

2012’s R.A.P. Music, produced by Killer Mike himself and El-P, was a critical success for Mike: Wikipedia says the album maintains an 85 on Metacritic, and most reviewers greeted the album with much acclaim (for instance, Pitchfork’s Ian Cohen gave it Best New Music and an 8.5, The AV Club handed it a B+, and Sputnikmusic gave it 5 stars and called it a “hip-hop masterpiece to be remembered for years to come”), and I’m sure Williams Street Records was pretty happy to add another great album to that catalog of other great compilations and full-lengths. You can preview it on here, and click the links on the page to pick it up on either iTunes or Amazon (where it’s only $9.99 right now).

Killer Mike took to CBS’ Late Show With David Letterman last night to perform a great track from the album, Untitled. And they basically killed it. Check it out:

Good, yeah? Go pick up the album.
