COWBOY BEBOP Creative Team Reunites for SPACE DANDY

Something amazing is happening, and it’s coming from Japan. The entire creative team that brought us Cowboy Bebop have reunited to bring us Space Dandy. What could possibly top that? In an unprecedented move, FUNimation and Adult Swim are broadcasting the new anime simultaneously with Japan’s schedule. Does that mean we’re getting subtitles? Sorry, purists, but no. As it turns out, Funimation will already have dubbed episodes by air time.

From FUNimation:

Space Dandy is a dandy in space! This dreamy adventurer with a to-die-for pompadour travels across the galaxy in search of aliens no one has ever laid eyes on. Each new species he discovers earns him a hefty reward, but this dandy has to be quick on his feet because it’s first come – first served! Accompanied by his sidekicks, a rundown robot named QT and Meow the cat-looking space alien, Dandy bravely explores unknown worlds inhabited by a variety aliens. Join the best dressed alien hunter in all of space and time as he embarks on an adventure that ends at the edge of the universe!

That said, we are freaking excited that the people who brought us Cowboy Bebop are together again to bring us a new anime we’re sure will knock our socks off. It’s not more Bebop, but hey, we’ll take it!
