Final Trailer Released for CATCHING FIRE
The final trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiered last night during Game 4 of the World Series. It highlights the tribulations our heroes will have to face in the new games: Jabberjays, monkeys, revolutions, oh my!
Baseball fans got a dose of some actual thrill — yes, we’re ripping on how boring baseball is, deal with it — when Lionsgate upped the ante in this final trailer, showing that this game in particular might be a hell of a lot deadlier than “baby-town frolics” from the first movie. Speaking of upping the ante, movie-goers watching Catching Fire in the IMAX will get smacked with awe at the scope and resolution as much of the games is filmed with IMAX cameras.
This highly-anticipated sequel stars Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta), Liam Hemsworth (Gale), Sam Claflin (Finnick), Jena Malone (Johanna), and Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Plutarch Heavensbee). Francis Lawrence takes over Gary Ross’ director’s chair, and is planned to continue to helm the rest of the series.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire comes to theaters near you November 22.
