JURASSIC PARK Limited Edition Poster by Patrick Connan

A limited edition Jurassic Park poster has gone on sale this week. The poster is in conjunction of the release of a cool new book version of the popular site, Geek-Art.net. Keep reading to check out the art and to learn more about the book.

Here is a press release about the book:

Geek-Art.net is getting more and more popular on the web and I was able to organize artshows dedicated to those universes (Game of Thrones, Star Trek, Dead Space, super heroes…). This was a premiere to my knowledge in Paris, and things go quite well.

Last years I have been contacted by a big French publisher, to make a book version of my blog, and the result of one year of hard work hit the French shelves in November 2012. The book was called Geek-Art : une Anthologie, and involved dozens of artists, hundreds of artworks, an interview of Steve Sansweet, a 10 pages introduction written by me. A way to introduce art lovers to the universes of the geekdom, and to introduce talented graphic designers, sculptors illustrators to the fans! I’m more than proud to say that the 5000 copies were sold out in a few weeks in France, Belgium and Quebec! To be honest it was quite a surprise, as such artbooks are not often that popular in my country.
It got so much attention that my publisher decided to make a reprint of a few thousands copies (attended in late October in France). AND my publisher is making some deals to print an English version before the end of the year!

I also created an online store where I sell the limited prints of the various art shows I organized throughout the years : www.geek-art-store.com.
