DEADPOOL Teaser To Debut At San Diego Comic-Con 2014

Is a Deadpool teaser on the way?

Marvel Comics and 20th Century Fox announced this week that they will debut a teaser trailer for an upcoming Deadpool film project at this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con. Also of note, Ryan Reynolds has apparently left the project, and the lead role of Deadpool is yet to be recast. Furthermore, Veteran actor Michael Biehn is still on-board the project and is slated to play Cable.

This entire announcement comes as little surprise, with Marvel and 20th Century Fox having seemingly reset their entire X-Men related cinematic timeline with the earlier release of their latest X-Men film, Days Of Future Past. Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool character and the highly questionable X-Men Origins: Wolverine film have been seemingly wiped away as a result of Days Of Future Past’s story, so there is no need for Reynolds to return to this new franchise.

Marvel’s Deadpool has no tentative release date, but is expected to be released sometime in 2015.
