Harrison Ford to Miss 8 Weeks of filming on STAR WARS EPISODE VII
Harrison Ford is hurt a little worse than we previously thought. Last week it was reported that the actor had hurt himself on the door of the Millenium Falcon while filming a scene for Star Wars Episode VII.
THR has reported that Harrison Ford has broken his ankle and will miss up to eight weeks of filming. The highly-anticipated sequel will remain on schedule to meet a release date of December 18, 2015. J.J. Abrams has been shooting for only a month. I am sure that there has been some major changes to the shooting schedule to accommodate the injury. Not much more is known about his injuries, but we will keep you posted as news becomes available.
Star Wars Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams and also stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker, New cast members include John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie and Max von Sydow.
