MAJORA’S MASK Gets Remastered for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS

During Nintendo’s European live stream yesterday, they officially announced a game we all knew was coming sooner or later — The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. That’s right, kiddies, Skull Kid is coming back to wreak havoc on a new generation of gamers, or on gamers who missed out the first time ’round. Bring it on.

If that wasn’t enough for you, the presentation also announced a special edition of Majora’s Mask. The package includes a steel book cover of the game, a pin shaped like the infamous mask, and a double sided poster (the contents of said poster are yet to be revealed). So far, this edition has only been announced for the European version release. No word yet if the U.S. may get the same Special Edition box as well.

Majora’s Mask 3D is expected to come out for the Nintendo 3DS and 2DS this Spring 2015.

The revamping of Majora’s Mask for the 3DS may have been Nintendo’s poorest kept secret ever, but that didn’t stop some of us from rejoicing like psychotic children on Christmas morning:
