Here’s a First Look at the New FANTASTIC 4 Costumes (Sort of)

What do Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, and the Fantastic 4 reboot have in common? They all finished production and are one their way to theaters soon. But while we’ve gotten a steady stream of sneak peeks and pics from the first two films respectively, we haven’t received anything solid from Fantastic 4 since they announced the casting. According to Nerdist News, an inside source was able to glimpse at some of the suits the heroes will be wearing in the movie.

The source wasn’t able to bring back definite photos, but was able to draw from memory what they saw. So keep in mind, this isn’t the OFFICIAL look of what we’ll see in the movie, whenever it finally comes out.

What you’re seeing here are the more grounded and functional suits the team wears before donning their classic comic book colors. These definitely reflect what we been hearing about the direction this film has been taking — rumors have been saying Fantastic 4 is more like Chronicle 2 than anything else.

Jessica Chobot dissects each look in the video below, revealing more insight into each character and the direction they’re going with all of this.

We’ll say it right now: On top of what we’ve already heard (from the movie being practically a mess and unwatchable to it being a huge departure from the F4 we know in the comics) and this… We’re pretty damn worried for the survival of this movie. Not that we’ll watch it when it comes out…okay, we’ll watch it out of morbid curiosity, but nothing else!
