Brick by Brick: LEGO Sets Proposed by Fans

Did you know that you could propose LEGO sets? No? Well you can! LEGO offers a way for fans to submit proposals on their site, LEGO Ideas.

It’s quite simple – you submit your idea, get 10,000 supporters within the set time frame, and then LEGO will review it to see if it can be made/sold.

That’s how a few awesome sets have come to be like Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters and the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future.

A fan submitted a fantastic Invader Zim idea complete with Voot cruiser and I have a mighty need to see it make it to the review stage. By the way, did you know that there will be a new Invader Zim comic book series that will be released in July!

And while I’m here, LEGO announced it’s newest sets from their second 2014 review. The chosen ideas were Wall-E from Disney/Pixar Wall-E and Doctor Who and Companions from Doctor Who. LEGO has promised to reveal more information about these sets later year

They are also reviewing the chosen ideas from the third 2014 review. Some of the sets include The Inferno from The Goonies, Jurassic Park, and Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirth.

So check out LEGO Ideas for more great sets and support the Invader Zim idea!
