MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER: The Best Music (So Far)
Everyone knows that without music, television and film just wouldn’t have the same appeal as it does when it’s there. The same can definitely be said for Marvel’s Agent Carter. Music from or inspired by the 1940’s plays in every episode of Agent Carter and to be honest I just have not been let down by the soundtrack to this amazing show.
I have picked just a few songs that have been featured on the show so far to share with you all because I can’t be the only one jonesing to have these on my iPhone!
“That Man” by Caro Emerald
Heard In: Episode one.
This song was playing when the episode opened up with the scene of Peggy talking to Captain America just as he was about to crash. We get to see Peggy in her apartment shortly after while this song is playing and shes getting her morning coffee ready and reading the paper. We then get a flashback/montage of scenes from the film.
“This Is Ours” by Peter Sivo Band
Heard In: Episode 2.
This song is heard when Peggy is having her interview with Miriam for a room at the hotel Angie lives in.
“Someone to Watch Over Me” by Helen Forrest
Heard In: Episode 3.
This song is heard when Peggy goes to the diner to talk to Angie about her rough day at work after learning that Krzeminski was killed.
“Drum Boogie” by Gene Krupa
Heard In: Episode 4
This song is heard at the very end of the episode when Peggy is hiding the vial and Dottie is playing with her new toy.
As you can see, I picked out one from every episode but there are loads more songs to discover from the show! If you’re interested, you can keep track of them all by bookmarking this page on Tune Find. Some cool folks have managed to track down almost all of the songs and provide titles and singers to them.
Also, don’t forget to tune into Marvel’s Agent Carter Tuesday nights at 9 pm EST on ABC.
