Crunchyroll Collaboration Shirts With OMOCAT and BOOMSLANK
For those who don’t know, Crunchyroll is a popular streaming site that brings it’s audience anime, manga, and drama contents. With it’s ever growing popularity among anime fans and bringing them the latest from Japan, they seeks out any and all things that promotes the love and culture of anime. In 2014, Crunchyroll did two collaborations shirts with artists that showed just that (both available now).
In July, Crunchyroll made available their shirt with BOOMSLANK. As mentioned by Crunchyroll:
In December, the announcement of the collaboration with OMOCAT. As mentioned by Crunchyroll:
“OMOCAT is a prolific and internationally known Asian-American artist. Her continuum of work includes illustration, comics, clothing, and merchandise and to top it all of, her own video game which is currently in production. Her imagery and context are based off Japanese-manga subculture and is embraced by both Japanese and American fans.”
The latter seems to be a real hit as popular voice actor Cristina Vee is also a fan.
