Hideo Kojima Parting Ways With Konami

Hideo Kojima, the creator and director of the Metal Gear series is reportedly leaving Konami in December, after the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

While there has been speculation about internal struggles, Kojima has been contracted with Konami to work on The Phantom Pain and develop Silent Hills with director Guillermo Del Toro.

No word has been said if this will halt work on Silent Hills, but the Metal Gear Solid V website no longer has any Kojima Productions logo on it.

Hopefully more news will come and we can figure out the plans for Kojima after he parts ways with Konami, until then we just wait.
