Attack On Titan 3DS Game Gets May 12 Release Date

Back in April during the Nintendo Direct broadcast it was announced that the Attack on Titan 3DS game will be getting both a North American and European release. It now has a release date of May 12th for North America. The Atlus game, officially titled Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains, will be exclusively available through the Nintendo eShop.

Unfortunately for Europe, the release of the game has been delayed. It also will not be receiving the same title as the North American version for copyright claims. Instead it will be known as Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains with “Shingeki no Kyojuin” being the original Japanese title of the series. Atlus is currently resolving the copyright issue and hopes to bring a release date to Europe as soon as possible.

There is good news that can still be shared between both North American and European fans regarding the game. Regardless of which region you buy the game, both will come with a free 3DS Home theme which will only be available with the game.
