DEADPOOL Wraps, Reynolds Thanks Fans

Our favorite slice of Canadian bacon, Ryan Reynolds, tweeted this morning that production for Deadpool is wrapped. We’re nearly there, you guys! Just a few more months of post production and BAM! the Merc with the Mouth is in a theater near you.

Below the actor posts a picture of the phrase “Deadpool was here” carved in rock followed by a quick “Thank you” to fans:

Have at it, Reynolds, you deserve that samich.

This will be Deadpool’s first proper theatrical debut — we’re not at all counting that one movie where Reynolds played a passable pre-Deadpool character, but the story botched it all over the place in the second and final acts. It was such an injustice to Reynolds and Deadpool that fans demanded a proper movie (and a mind scrub so we could all forget about…this).

Deadpool is set to break the fourth wall in theaters everywhere on February 12, 2016.
