You Guys, There’s Going to be a BOB’S BURGERS Cookbook

It’s called The Bob’s Burgers Experiment. It started as a humble Tumblr page where Cole Bowden has experimented with burger recipes based on punny burger-of-the-days as seen written on the chalkboard in FOX’s animated comedy, Bob’s Burgers. It’s gotten so much attention that now he is collaborating with Bento Box Entertainment, FOX, and Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard to craft a cookbook.

In an interview with NPR’s The Salt, Bouchard fell in love with the blog ever since he discovered it. “It was maybe the best example of how doing a show in the age of the internet can be such a satisfying experience.”

In the collaboration, Bowden will supply the recipes, Bouchard will assist with the illustrations, and Rizzoli will publish the book.

Very soon you’ll be able to make your own Blue is the Warmest Cheese Burger.

An all beef patty marinated in buffalo sauce and stuffed with blue cheese and celery. Served on a sesame seed bun with even more buffalo sauce, and a creamy bleu cheese sauce.

Or the Tarragon in Sixty Seconds Burger.

An all beef patty seasoned with onions, garlic and white pepper. Topped with fresh tarragon and havarti cheese. Served with a side of Tarragon potatoes.

Or the The Wake Me Up Before You Go-Goji Berry Burger.

A feta stuffed lamb burger set atop a bed of arugula and topped with a goji and black berry sauce and feta cheese crumbles. Comes on a French Bun.

Suddenly I’m thinking I was too hasty on becoming a vegetarian…
