Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tudyk Join STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE
If you’v been living under a rock these last few days then you’ve totally missed all of the Star Wars excitement coming out of D23. There is so much happening within the next few years for us Star Wars fans. So. Much.
The cast was announced for the next film in the franchise and now it seems two more have been added. Mads Mikkelsen of Hannibal fame and Alan Tudyk of Firefly fame have both been announced as being the next addition to the already amazing diverse cast.
“…Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tudyk have both joined the movie’s roster of talent in as-yet-unannounced roles, with Tudyk apparently reusing his old I Robot motion-capture skills as some sort of digital creature.”
While we have no information on who they’re playing, just knowing that I will get to see my beloved Mads in a Star Wars film is enough to keep my already growing interest.
The full cast includes Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna, Felicity Jones, Jiang Wen, and Donnie Yen as well as Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker. Rogue One is set to take place between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope, with a crew of rebels working to steal the Death Star plans. It is set for a December 16, 2016 release date.
