NYSW Apple Event – Naruto: Meet The Creator

You don’t always have to attend New York Comic Con to enjoy the nerd fest happening that weekend. In fact, you can enjoy it before the convention even begins. Are you aware of New York Super Week?  It usually starts the Monday prior to N.Y.C.C. and ends on the last day of it as well. Attending these events do not require having tickets to the convention but may require purchasing tickets for that individual event.

This year at the Apple store in Soho, they held several free (but still needed RSVP) ‘Meet the Author’ type events and the night before his New York Comic Con debut, the creator of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto and editor, Jo Otsuki, made an appearance. During the hour long discussion, Kishimoto talked with fans about his journey, on what it was like working on his hit manga series, and his future plans now that the series has finished.
