Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Blu-ray Review
There has been an awakening…and we have felt it with Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens being released on Blu-Ray!
The long anticipated next entry in the Star Wars franchise hit theaters in December 2015 and saw the largest opening weekend in cinema history. The newest film directed by J.J. Abrams carried with it the hopes and dreams of millions of Star Wars fans around the globe, as well as the expectations from critics for the franchise to return to its once great form. Luckily for both parties, very few were disappointed. Harnessing a blend of young and old talent, Abrams was able to construct a story that felt strikingly similar in many aspects, but altogether new for multiple generations of fans to be able to enjoy the magic of Star Wars being brought back to the big screen once more.
Now with Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens being released on blu-ray, fans can finally overanalyze every frame from the comfort of their own home and begin to ask the questions that really matter. Like, who are Rey’s parents? Who exactly is Supreme Leader Snoke? Is everything that happens during that Force Vision real or just a dream? Why does C-3PO have a red arm for one scene and why is it gone the next? Why didn’t Leia hug Chewie near the end?! What does Kylo Ren do to his hair to make it look so great even after taking off his helmet?!?! And could we be even more excited for Episode VIII and Rogue One?! There are many questions still to be answered, and, hopefully, some of them may be at least partially answered on the extras of this very blu-ray.
In case you missed it in theaters, or want to add it to your collection, here are the details on the Blu-ray release.
