First and foremost, let me be clear right upright upfront: I quite enjoyed Civil War. And by enjoy, I mean I was entertained – it was fun, fast, and full of spectacle. These are all things we want from our tent pole summer films, and something we have come to expect from Marvel with its undeniable success at making comic book films.

And now that we have all had a few weeks to digest what was essentially “Avengers 3,” and including for some of us maybe even a 2nd or 3rd viewing,  it’s time to take a closer look at some of what was right with Captain America: Civil War, and what was, at times, oh-so-very wrong.
