NoScope Gaming Glasses Expands Catalog with New Design and Colors

NoScope Gaming Glasses has expanded their selection of gaming glasses with a new design and the return of two color styles! I got the chance to review their gaming glasses while I was at PAX Prime last year and I was very happy with both Wraith and Minotaur designs. At the time they were both available in Onyx and Frost White. It seems for a while they were out of stock in the Frost White for both designs but they are happy to announce that to the overwhelming response for the color, they are able to bring them back and offer them again. Also, Minotaur is now offered in more colors! You have your choices of Tsunami Blue, Wasabi Green, and Hellfire Orange.

Also making its debut is the Andromeda design. The glasses are priced at $19.99 which makes them very affordable. The Andromeda glasses are designed with a combination of classic style (think Ray-Ban) but with “NoScope’s unique design philosophy.” Some of the key features of their newest design are:

– Lowest price available for quality gaming and computer glasses
– NoScope gaming grade resin-coated lenses to reduce eye strain and fatigue while gaming
– Spring hinges allowing for expandable arms to fit many sizes
– Classically inspired design in a durable polycarbonate frame
– High-quality laser-etched NoScope logo emblazoned on the lens
– Includes free accessories: White leather carrying pouch and microfiber cleaning cloth

I got the chance to try out the Andromeda glasses and I absolutely loved them. I personally like them better than the Minotaur and Wraith glasses. Don’t get me wrong, all three are great but I’m a classic kind of gal and the Andromeda feel and fit like my hot pink Ray-Ban sunglasses. They were comfortable and the yellow tint on the lens is there which helped filter out that pesky blue light. The yellow tint did not block me at all from game playing. We’ve been playing a lot of Nidhogg in this household. The glasses are also pretty sturdy. I have knocked them off my desk a few times and they are holding up. No scratches on the lens as of yet and the arms haven’t felt loose at all. They do come in a pouch holder which does the job well of protecting them but you can upgrade to an armor case if you want the extra added protection.

Again, loved the product and designs that NoScope is releasing and absolutely love that they are helping me protect my eyes at such an affordable price point. Andromeda is only available in Onyx but hopefully they will release more colors for the glasses soon. I’m going to be bringing these bad boys to PAX West with me this year!
