SOLO Rival Backpack – The Perfect Bag for Work and Play

Solo Bags are made in NYC and are the perfect choice for carrying your gear whether you are heading to your next meeting or to the gym. These bags not only carry all of your tech, but look good while doing it. I had the chance to use a Solo Rival Backpack for the past two weeks. We recently gave away a Solo Everyday Max Backpack and I can attest that these bags are some of the best bags out on the market.

The Rival is part of the Force Collection and has plenty of room to protect all of your tech and then some. The bag is not your traditional backpack. It has a smooth polyester finish that has a nice shine to the black bag. The front of the bag has reflective strips that are helpful if you are walking at night. The Rival has a harder shell than most backpacks, which is perfect for toting around your tech.

The dry bag can fit up to a 17.3″ laptop and also has an internal pocket for your tablet. What is really unique about the bag is that there are external side pockets that are designed to fit your standard over-the-ear headphones like Beats. These pockets would also be perfect for carrying fragile items that you need to have quick access t0o such as your mobile phone. They are also great for holding charging cables.

Most of the backpacks I have used never seem to fit good enough to say on my back. The Rival has curved sleeves that are padded and fit so comfortably on my back. It never slid around or slipped off of my shoulders. On top of that it actually felt good on my back. Part of that is due to the soft padding and the cooling air mesh back padding.

The Rival is available on the Solo website for $79.99 and it ships in 1 – 2 business days. Keep reading for more info about the backpack and for some pictures.
