Production Schedules For Avengers 4, Captain Marvel, And Ant Man 2 Revealed

Marvel Studios has 4 movies between now and next year of highly anticipated super hero movies lines up for us. In case you forgot, we have Spiderman: Homecoming in July, Thor: Ragnarok in November, Black Panther in February 2018 and Avengers 3 Infinity Wars in May 2018. As you can see Marvel has itself busy and it has no plans to stop. We have the production schedules revealed for 3 more movies that should be expected to come out within a year or 2 after the 4 previous mention movies are released. The 3 upcoming movies that are expected to be worked on are Avengers 4 (which is just part 2 of Infinity Wars), Ant Man 2 (Ant Man and The Wasp), and Captain Marvel. Possibly releases dates have been previously revealed, though who knows if those will actually be the true dates of when they will come out, however we know when the movies will be worked on.

Here is what we know

Avengers 4: The second-part of the Avengers: Infinity War film, and filming soon around July 17 in Atlanta, GA with a wrap date of December 13. The cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.

Captain Marvel: It looks like the success of Wonder Woman may have changed the company’s mind of when they wanted to start working on their own female led film. Captain Marvel was expected to start in February 2018 but it seems they will actually being January 8 in Atlanta, GA with production expected to end on May 11th. Brie Larson will debut as Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) in Avengers: Infinity War, but will then headline her own solo film in 2019. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck will be the directors for the film. Hopefully news on additional casting will be announced soon.

Ant Man 2: Ant-Man and the Wasp looks like it will begin their production on July 6 in Atlanta, GA with a scheduled end date of November 30. If your not already excited for this movie to come out, The Wasp herself, Lily Evangeline, teased her fitting on her costume fitting on social media. An interesting note to take in is the overlapping of their production dates with Avengers 4. I sure hope there is some involvement of the Wasp in an Avengers film but we’ll just have to wait and see.
