2. World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft is a game everyone knows, it is mainly the first MMORPG people have ever tried. As the most successful MMORPG of all time, World of Warcraft has had a lot of influence on other MMORPG games out there. Same as Elder Scrolls Online, you will have a chance to customize your own character, participate in various fun events, take out the enemies in dungeons and raids, PvP and follow an engrossing storyline that will surely have you speechless. If you just started and got into the whole MMORPG world, you might have to check out some of the tutorials online.

3. Maple Story 2

Maple Story 2 is quite different than the first two MMORPG games, while it might remind you of Minecraft, Maple Story is actually something completely different! Again, you will be asked to create your own unique character, you will explore a ton of colorful environments, participate in many mini-games and kill epic bosses as you follow the main storyline. Crafting and side missions are also something to look at in Maple Story 2. Unlike World of Warcraft and Elder Scrolls Online, this game is completely free but of course, it features in-game purchases.


Unlike most MMORPGs out there, TERA is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One! TERA Online uses a real-time third-person combat system which is truly breathtaking. Unlike most MMOs, TERA will force you to handle and land your abilities through skill-shot combat system. While this makes the combat challenging and incredibly engaging, this might be a little bit harder to get used to. TERA also features your own character customization, an extreme amount of areas, PvE and PvP events and of course, an amazingly written story.


While Trove might remind you of Maple Story 2 by looking at it, it is actually a lot different. Trove is a game made to entertain you! Pick your favorite class, put on a mask and change the way your entire equipment looks like, fly on the dragons, check out great building and looting systems! Build your own house, join a club and meet great people. Trove will surely keep you entertained most of the time, there are always dungeons and challenges you will need to do! While Trove might not feature a breathtaking storyline like World of Warcraft or TERA, it is still a game you should give a try!
