Play All Your Favorite Poker Games with the Very Best in Poker Apps

Poker is my all-time favorite card game and one of the best ways, in my opinion, to pass the time. But it’s not always convenient to pull out a deck of cards wherever you are. Not to mention, you then have to find people to play with you. So I took to the internet to see if there were other ways I could play poker and still have fun, even on the go. I discovered a list of the top 10 poker apps on a website called AppGrooves and decided to give them a try. Turns out, there are some really great ones on there – I’ll link the site below so you can explore it!

Best 10 Poker Games by AppGrooves

Whether you want to play from the comfort of your own home or you simply don’t have anyone to play with in person, I’ve found that the three apps I’ve included below are perfect for getting my poker hands fix right from my mobile device.

Huuuge Casino – Rating: 4.6, Downloads: 10M

Huuuge Casino is really nice because it gives you all the variety of a real casino with more than 100 slot machine games, including video poker. There are also global poker and Texas Holdem games that you can play against people from all over the world; even compete in leagues and tournaments. Not to mention, you get loads of free bonus chips to start playing as well as free chips every 15 minutes, which means that you can keep playing even if you’ve used up all of your chips. With its layout and the chip system, it’s just like playing poker in a real casino, which is very fun.

Because the game operates on chips instead of real cash, it’s possible you may have to wait to earn more chips if you run out. Like I said, chips do replenish somewhat every 15 minutes, but it may not be the amount you need, so it’s possible you might have to wait longer.

  • Pros: A variety of games, including variations on poker, in the traditional casino style.
  • Cons: You may have to wait for your chips to reload so you can play more games.
  • Overall: A very fun, life-like take on poker. Just know that, like real life, it might take some time to earn back those chips.

Poker KinG Online – Rating: 4.6, Downloads: 1M

Poker KinG Online, despite the odd spelling of its name, is a really quality app because of its immense variety; it gives you access to a live chat, ring games, sit-n-go tournaments, and lottery draws. You even have the ability to create and use your own personalized avatar, which is a fun custom touch. You play using gold, which you can earn on a daily basis as you explore all things online poker and Texas Holdem.

Poker KinG does have chat capability, as I mentioned previously, but there have been reports of foul language and bullying in the chat room during tournaments. If this is something you want to try to avoid, then I would recommend either ignoring the chat function or choosing one of the other two apps in this article.

  • Pros: The ability to chat with other players, play in tournaments, and earn bonuses through a lottery draw.
  • Cons: Foul language in the chat rooms.
  • Overall: There are a variety of fun ways to earn gold and play poker, but you might face some bad behavior in the chat rooms.

Jackpot Poker by PokerStars – Rating: 4.6, Downloads: 1M

Jackpot Poker by PokerStars is a fast-paced and professional style Texas Holdem gaming app that’s really great for more experienced poker players, and it gives you instant access to hundreds of rounds. Because of its unique programming, it only takes seconds for you to play your next turn. You can also use this app to take poker quizzes, chat with other players, and learn more about how to play like an actual poker pro.

Unfortunately, as is the case with most poker apps, if you experience a connection issue, you will likely lose the chips you’ve earned in that game. It does suck when it happens, so definitely make sure you have a stable connection to the internet.

  • Pros: Fast-paced for more experienced players, quick turnaround between turns, and the ability to chat with other players.
  • Cons: Internet connection is required and if there is a connection issue you will likely lose your chips.
  • Overall: As long as you have a stable internet connection, the game is really fun with a variety of challenges.

I am so glad that I found these poker apps and can share them with you. If you’re anything like me and love to play poker in all of its forms, then you seriously have to check these out!
